Here is a wonderful photograph of the returning World War 1 veterans from Hanover, PA. The framed image measures 9” x 34 ½” overall. Original narrow frame shows some scuffs on corners. Image is under glass and backed by old cardboard. Veterans pose in street with traditional large brick church in background; should be easy to find exact location. Veterans stand in uniform in two rows, a mix of army and navy. Sixty-eight soldiers and several civilians in photo. Captioned at bottom of image is “Welcome Home” and “Photo by Hoffman Studio, Hanover, Pa. Nice clear image with good contrast, several different division patches are discernible. [jet]
