Small wooden lap desk measures 13 ¾” x 8 ½” x 5 ½” when closed. Hinged lid opens to provide 12 ¼” x 11” green felt covered writing table. When opened, its upper section lift up, uncovering writing paper compartment. The hinged upper lid covers three small compartments for inkwell, pen and tips, which are included. In all, a cleverly constructed lap desk, compact and handsome. Underside of desk is covered in felt.

The outside of desk has a key lock and original skeleton key is present. All interior compartments clean. Felt covered surface exhibits light wear and fading at the crease. Dark exterior surface displays minor scratches consistent with age and usage. Highly attractive and a solid collectible. Great desk display piece.
