Sewing needles in original paper package with label reads, “H. MILWARD & SONS PATENT HELIX NEEDLES / SHARPS 6 PATENT WRAPPERS / J.E. MILWARD SOLE AGENT 1857”. Package unfolds to reveal 24 brand new shiny sewing needles. Folded package measures 7/8” x 1 ¼”.

From the first half of the 18th century, the name of Henry Milward and Sons became well known as the makers of good quality needles. At one point they were the largest manufacturer of its type in the world, producing knitting needles, surgical needles, and fishing tackle, from a number of factories both in the UK and globally.  [sl]
