Hair bracelet has a beautifully engraved gold clasp, which fully functions, and features a locket. “Mother” is engraved in the center of locket, and on the reverse, “December 25, 1864”. Interior of locket is empty. Bracelet measures approx. 6 ½” long. Hair is still tightly woven and the only flaw is that the hair is slightly frayed where it attaches to the clasp.
This piece was part of a wonderful, large collection of jewelry we acquired. [sm]
