This is a nice pair of silver tongs measuring 6.5” long overall. Features acorn-shaped bowls at ends of arms. Hallmark of “J. LYNCH” on inside of one arm with another well-worn mark on the opposite arm. Initials engraved on one arm and “1900” on the other. Very fine condition. John Lynch (1761-1848) was working as a silversmith in Baltimore by 1786.  [jet] [ph:L]
