Beautiful brass small-size antique spyglass/telescope. Constructed of brass with a leather wrap around the body. Complete – four sections with lens cover. It retains very clear optics and is in perfect working order. The original leather wrap is in excellent condition; stitching is complete and unbroken. No maker’s markings.
Measures approximately 6.5” when collapsed and is 17.25” when fully extended. It is 1.25” in diameter.
The focus is adjusted by extending the spyglass, fixing on an object in the distance, and then slowly shortening the length of the third section until a clear view is achieved.
A great little telescope. [jet]
