Offered here is a pair of brass “travelling” candle stick holders. Consists of two candle stick holder cups that are screwed into saucer shaped bases. When not in use, or when travelling, the small “cups” unscrewed and were stored between the two “saucers” which screwed together forming its own container.
The bases are approximately 3 ¼” in diameter. Brass has a nice, mellow patina. Many Civil War officers used this type of candle holder and this would be perfect in any display of Civil War soldiers personal items. [jet]
