Very ornate silver 5th Corps badge with remains of “T” bar pin on back. The face has a clear smooth center surrounded by arms that are decorated with a swirl pattern design. Reverse has the mount and catch for a “T” bar pin but the pin itself is gone. Hallmarks on the reverse consist of an anchor, a lion, a lower case letter “L” and lastly the initials “W. A”. Scratched lightly on the reverse near the top of the pin are the initials “E A”; at the bottom can be seen “B A”. There appears to be something else in between the sets of initials, but it is not clearly legible.
