This pair of spurs is Civil War era cased, "Box" patent fabulously decorated in relief floral designs including rowels, which are heavily gilded. The metal patented boot studs are each marked "PEAL 3287 DUKE ST." Spurs are cased in a fitted silk and velvet lined case. This pair of spurs is in like new condition with case latch broken but is a very rare cased set.
