Excellent condition leather scabbard for a socket bayonet for the Austrian Lorenz rifle.  Measures approximately 20” long overall.  Iron throat features characteristic “X” opening for the four-sided bayonet.  Throat has integral 3” long belt hook attached.  Bottom of scabbard is closed with an iron tip featuring a small ball at the end.  Leather body remains in very good shape.  There is no cracking or crazing, only some minor surface scuffs.  Stitching along the length of the scabbard is tight and unbroken.

A very nice scabbard for anyone with a Lorenz socket bayonet.   [jet] [ph:L]
