Original black bridle leather scabbard with buff leather frog. This was for the Model 1855 socket bayonet (bayonet not included). The body is in very good condition with just a few scuffs. The seam running up the back shows no breaks or separation of stitching. Brass scabbard tip attached with four tacks.

Arched buff leather frog is in very good condition. The frog is seven rivet style and is sewn and riveted to the scabbard. Frog has no visible maker’s mark or inspector’s stamps.
