Black leather saddle holsters for the large and heavy Colt Dragoon pistols. Overall, the leather is in good condition but the yoke between the holsters shows heavy surface finish loss. Each side of the yoke has a small slit for attaching to the saddle.
The holsters themselves are in very good condition with all sewn seams still holding tight. The holster body meas. approx. 13.50 inches long with round brass finials attached by brass screws. The body of each holster has a pear-shaped brass finial but neither holster has a flap. The flaps are not missing, they were never present to begin with.
There is a height adjustment strap present but there is no hardware.
Adding these holsters to a pair of original or repro Colt Dragoon revolvers would make an impressive display. [ad] [ph:L]
