Leather shoulder sling for Spanish-American War era canvas haversack. Leather strap measures 1” thick and is approximately 57” long in total. As it is folded in thirds, this measures (with hooks) 24” long. Brass hooks and two sliding belt loops. Leather is soft and pliable. Stamped “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL”. This is a hard to find accessory to the Span-Am War haversack. [jet]
