This is a complete percussion cap pouch in very fine condition. This pattern has the integral closing tab as an extension of the outer flap.
The latch tab is unbroken. The interior flap has a “E. METZGER / PHILA” stamp as well as an oval sub-inspector stamp. Both inner “ears” remain firmly sewn in place. Complete fleece remains. The nipple pick is still in place inside.
