Leather is in nice shape. The outer flap has a good exterior surface with a tooled “U.S.” at center. There is just the smallest bit of crazing visible at the top. Latch tab is an integral part of the outer flap and is solid showing only light surface wear.
Inner flap has both ears and a smooth clean surface.
Interior lacks the fleece and pick.
The body of the box is in very nice shape with the brass finial at bottom. Back has both belt loops which are attached by stitching only. One belt loop has broken at the top. [ad]
