Leather box to hold Sharps cartridges. Leather exhibits light crazing on front flap, mainly on edges. There is heavier crazing on the back, bottom and sides. Reverse has both belt loops, which are stitched and riveted. Latch tab present and unbroken, but has been reinforced on the back to prevent further damage. Brass finial is present. Inner flap is present as well as stitched latch tab and loop. Most stitching is tight, except for both top corners of outer flap, where it has come loose. Scarce inner tin present, and in fine condition. Overall good condition. Box measures 6 ½” wide x 5” high x 1 ½” deep. No maker’s marks or stampings.
