Nice condition leather US cap box. The leather throughout the box is in good supple condition showing light scratches and wear from rubbing but no crazing or flaking. The outer flap has a latch tab that shows only minor wear
The interior flap has both ears and a double maker’s mark stamped one over the other. Marking reads “H. W. OLIVER / PITTSBURGH, PA.” The top of the inner flap and the underside of the outer flap show some minor insect tracking.
The body of the box is in nice condition to match the rest but there is no fleece or pick. Bottom has rounded pear shaped finial. Reverse has both belt loops. Each belt loop shows some light surface wear.
