Leather baldric used for wearing the NCO or Musician sword. The leather of the baldric meas. approx. 2.25 inches wide and exhibits some light wear and dirt. One end has a sewn leather keeper while the other end has 6 holes for adjusting size. When worn over the right shoulder the aperture for the NCO or Musicians sword rests against the left hip. The sword, still in the scabbard, passes through the aperture and hangs by a hook at the scabbard throat. The size of the baldric is adjusted by an eagle breast plate with two hooks and a tongue on reverse. This rig comes with a cartridge box plate serving in place of the correct three-pronged plate.
