Standard US issue leather belt in poor to fair condition. The leather dusty and dirty and crazed throughout with some moderate surface finish loss. Despite the drawbacks the belt is solid and is still a bit pliable.
Pattern 1851 NCO plate is in nice condition with the spread-winged eagle at center of an applied silver wreath that extends above the eagle’s wings. Plate has a light surface patina with a narrow tongue on the reverse.
Plate is stamped with a bench number “62” on the face of the tongue while the keeper is stamped with a “62” on the reverse. [ad][ph:L]
