White buff belt dyed brown on the outside in very good condition. Plate is rectangular NCO eagle plate marked “265” with a matching numbered keeper. Left side has double riveted and sewn tab holding two brass “D” rings, one at top for anchoring a shoulder strap and one at bottom that holds a brass hook for the sword.
Back of the belt has a square brass ring attached by riveted and sewn leather straps. This ring was used to attach sword drops but these are not present.
Overall the belt has a nice used appearance. Plate has a nice smooth patina. Leather is strong. [ad]
