Excellent condition white buff leather belt. Measures approximately 40” long with buckle. Belt is just a hair under 2” wide. Outside surface was chalked or painted at some point. Leather is very clean and supple. Clearly written in brown ink on the inside surface is “J.M. French / “I” Co 7th Regt”.
Oval “US” buckle has puppy-paw hooks and is in similar good condition. The brass face does have a mellow patina to the background that makes the rim and letters stand out nicely.
Beautiful belt set in amazing condition. [jet]
