Item is in excellent condition. Leather is still pliable and strong. Surface of the leather has no crackling or crazing. One end has a brass adjuster hook while the other end has a sewn loop. Also with the sling are two sliding loops. Item meas. approx. 66.50 inches long from the tip of the brass hook to the edge of the sewn leather loop and is 1.25 inches wide. Clearly and boldly stamped on one end is “WATERVLIET ARSENAL.”
