Made of buff leather folded and sewn, this piece measures 9” long x 3.75” at its widest point. With belt loop at top and scalloped profile. Leather is slightly stiff and retains the shape of the scabbard it once held. Stitching is tight and unbroken. Surface exhibits very little wear.
Would have been worn on the waist belt to carry an NCO or Musician’s sword. Remains in very fine condition. [jet] [ph:L]
