Brown leather saddle with the typical McClellan seat with elliptical cutout at center. Brass saddle shield mounted on cantle says it is an 11.50 inch seat. Leather is in good condition and free of rips or tears. Pommel and cantle have brass escutcheons.
One wooden stirrup is present. Saddle has no skirts which is correct for the Model 1904. Quarter straps are also present. “O” ring pads on quarter straps are marked “H.-S.S.C.O.” over “J.E.M.”
Surface dirt from age and storage is present throughout. [ad]
