.50 CAL. CARTRIDGE FOR M1871 REMINGTON ARMY PISTOL

$30.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 998-1221

Here is an excellent specimen of a cartridge manufactured for the last single shot martial pistol in the United States, the Remington “rolling block” pistol. This features a copper cartridge case with a lead bullet. The cartridge is internally primed using a Benet primer with the iron anvil, notice the crimps in the cartridge case. Manufactured at the Frankford arsenal. This is for the Army pistol and has the tapered neck. No headstamp.

This is a very clean example and in "right out of the box" condition! This would make a great addition to any cartridge collection.
