The full title of this work is “WHAT DEATH MORE GLORIOUS: A BIOGRAPHY OF GENERAL STRONG VINCENT” by James H. Nevins and William B. Styple, published by Belle Grove Publishing in 1997.

Book is hardbound with a maroon cover bearing an image of General Vincent as a colonel at center. Title is done in white on the front cover and spine. Covers show very little wear. Spine is slightly sun faded.

Volume meas. approx. 6.50 x 9.25 inches and runs 181 pages with index. Interior is very clean.

Vincent is well-known for his brigade’s defense of Little Round Top at Gettysburg on July 2, 1863 during which he was killed.  [ad] [ph:L]
