Item is a Civil War bullseye canteen in good condition that has had a Spanish-American war cork, sling and cover attached.

The body of the canteen is in excellent condition being free of dents. All three of the original sling keepers are present. The pewter spout is marked “J. H. ROHRMAN CO. DEC. 29, 64.”

The pull ring and cork are also nice. They are attached by a brass chain with a ring around the spout.

The canteen body is still wrapped in the wool insulation only the canvas shell of the outer cover is missing.

Also present is the woven 1.25 inch wide khaki sling with brass adjustment buckle. Sling does have some light surface dirt but is in nice shape  [ad][ph:L]
