Here is a very nice eagle belt plate as used by many militia officers. Measures 84mm x 56mm. Die stamped sheet brass featuring central eagle. Thirteen stars around edge. Attractive face with nice age patina. Back retains sheet brass belt hook soldered in place; the belt loop at opposite end has broken off at solder points. Retains original body curve. [jet][ph:L]
