Known as a “Belgian” bullet for no particular reason, this bullet features a pointy nose, three grooves set close to the base, and a deep conical cavity. This bullet was nose cast and retains mold seams on the sides.
Perfect white patina. This is the best example of this type of bullet I’ve seen; most have gray patina. Measures 0.69” x 1.125”.
Recovered near Orange, Virginia. [jet] [ph:L]
