Rosettes are stamped brass with an intertwined “USA” on the face and a brass bar on the reverse for attaching to the headstall.
Both bear a museum accession number on the reverse. Also, one of the bits has “M1863 ARTILLERY” written in light black ink on the reverse edge so it will not show when displayed.
Items are in very good condition. [AD] [PH:L]
