Front cover features full page illustration, titled “The Attack on Fredericksburg—The Forlorn Hope Scaling the Hill”, w/story of page *30. Interior includes full page illustrated of “The Bombardment of Fredericksburg By the Army of the Potomac.” Plus a striking panoramic centerfold depicting the battle from the rear—“A Battle As Seen By the Reserve.”

Exhibits mounting dots and slight chipping of front page margins; some paper loss at lower right edge of front page. Front page is separated.  Light soiling to right edges of pages, particularly the last few. Solid “battle” issue, and as such, solidly collectible.
