Large heavy steel broad ax head that meas. approx. 11.75 inches on the blade x 9.50 inches wide. Stamped into the head is “J. B. BOGERT / CAST STEEL WARRANTED” in two lines.  The letters “TEEL” are weak. Below this is “U.S.” Only one side of the item is marked.

Blade edge has several small nicks and some light surface rust otherwise the item is clean.
