Forceps is approx. 9.75 inches long and in very nice clean condition. Handles have crosshatching on a frosted surface. The opposite ends each have a small cup shaped nose that form a circular pattern for holding a ball.
Item is marked “FORD & WADE, NEW YORK.
William Ford and George Wade joined forces to start an instrument business during 1861 as Wade and Ford. The business was located in New York at 85 Fulton from 1860 - 1866.
