Antique surgeon's springloaded fleam bleeder in original case. The outer sleeve is brass and the blade is steel. Maker’s mark is present and reads, “SNOWDEN, PHILADELPHIA”.
Case is wood that is covered in red leather, and has an embossed floral design on the top. Original hook and knob are present and function to keep lid closed. Case has scuff marks. Case is lined in green velvet. Velvet has some worn spots.
Measures 3” long x 1 ½” at widest end.
