This Confederate spur exhibits a nice dark patina with some verdigris. It is missing its rowel and half of the neck is also missing. The spur was dug by Karl Young in Gettysburg at the Thomas Farm on Hanover Rd. in 1970. It measures 6 inches long by 3.25 wide.
