This 10-cent coin dates from 1852. The front of the coin reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 1852" and features a six point star with an American shield seal. The back features an ornamented "C" around "III" in Roman numeral fashion and sixteen stars around the edges. Recovered from the 3rd Corps Hospital Site in Gettysburg.
