Straight cane meas. approx. 35.75 inches long. The base is plain. There was a stopper there at one time but it is no gone and only glue residue remains. The wood on the cane is light with dark decorations. At the top near the handle are all the badges of the Union Army Corps present at Gettysburg. Also in this area the cane is lightly stamped “GETTYSBURG, JULY 1-2-3, 1863, WOOD FROM MEADE’S HEADQUARTERS.” The rest of the decoration on the cane is dark wavy lines. Wood is in good condition. Handle area shows wear.
