Cloth covered boards with gold lettering on cover that reads “THE REBEL INVASION OF MARYLAND & PENNSYLVANIA AND BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG.” Covers are in good condition with light wear to corners and top and bottom of spine. Inside front cover is fold out map of the Gettysburg Battlefield with troop positions in opposing colors. Map has some small tears along fold lines and where attached to book but these are minor. Author was one "M. Jacobs.” The book was printed in 1864 by the “J. B. Lippincott & Co.” and is in very good condition with just light foxing on the pages. Mostly near the edges. Book runs approximately 47 pages in length. Nice tight copy.
