Large serving tray souvenir is lithographed pressed steel. Titled “General View of the Battlefield of Gettysburg 1863” at bottom of tray. Measures 13.625” x 16.75”. View is from the Ziegler’s Grove observation tower constructed in 1896. The tray is circa 1900. The scene is very detailed even to the point that the observation tower on Round Top in the distance is visible. The tray still retains most of the original gloss. Very hard to find an example such as this one with just a few minor blemishes. [DM] [ph:L]
