This is a solid piece of a tree with a bullet fired into it.  This small piece of wood has an unknown type minie ball embedded in it; just the back end is visible. This is an old piece of wood, cut from a solid tree trunk, now showing dark age patina. This was cut long, long ago; it is not a “dug” bullet in wood.

Wood measures 3” long x 3” wide x 2” thick.  Wood remains very stable.
