PAIR OF M1859 CAVALRY SPURS WITH STRAPS FROM LEE’S HEADQUARTER’S GETTYSBURG

$395.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 286-1339

Offered here is a complete pair of non-excavated U.S. Model 1859 brass spurs acquired from the Lee’s Headquarters collection.

This style has no gutter inside but does have the floral motif on the base of the necks. Rowels still spin. Nice dark “battlefield pickup” patina. Leather straps still retain the small roller buckles and are in well-worn and well-weathered condition.

These were originally in the Lee’s Headquarters Museum, the contents of which were sold 1999-2000.   [jet] [ph:L]
