Paper covers; held together by red string as issued. Cover with gold lettering and drawing of the High Water Mark monument in front of the Copse of Trees. Heavily illustrated, an interesting look at what the battlefield was like at the turn of the 20th century. Great for “then and now” comparisons.

Overall good condition with light scattered surface dirt.

Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles. [ad][ph:L]
