Vintage iron bank features an applied image of a soldier in blue uniform leaning on a broken fence post while aiming his musket. Raised wording below reads, “100^TH ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG”. Reverse of bank reads, “JULY 1,2, 3, 1863. GEN. MEADE 97000 MEN, GEN. LEE 75000 MEN, 23000 -CASUALTIES – 28000 / COMMEMORATIVE BANK”.

Bank measures 7 ¼” wide by 5” tall by 3 ½” deep. Quite heavy, weighing nearly 5 lbs. Bank is made from a two-piece mold and painted gray. A lone coin remains inside of bank.  [sl][ph:L]
