At center of the cover is a circular post mark that reads “GETTYSBURG/JUL 1/ 9-AM/1963/ PA.” The upper right corner has a 5 cent stamp that shows a Union and Confederate soldier struggling hand to hand and they are flanked by the dates “1863-1963.” Below the stamp is another mark that reads “FIRST DAY OF ISSUE.”
