Toy pistol made entirely out of cedar wood. Barrel meas. approx. 5.00 inches long and is stamped on top of the cylinder “JULY 1, 2, 3, 1863 GETTYSBURG, PA.” Stamping is straight and clear.
This wood revolver is a little larger than what is usually seen. The grip is longer and wider and the cylinder has two visible chambers.
Revolver is made of different types of wood with the grip and cylinder being a darker wood than the barrel and loading lever.
These were made locally on Stratton St. in Gettysburg. [ad] [ph:L]
