Image meas. approx. 9.00 x 7.25 inches and shows a group of twenty people gathered in front of the rocks at Devil’s Den. Twelve of the men wear dark suits and slouch hats. Several have reunion ribbons visible and a few are wearing GAR lapel buttons and one man has a 3rd Corps badge on his coat. The gentleman standing at the far-left front poses for the camera holding his umbrella like a musket at the “PORT ARMS” position.
Photo has good clarity and contrast and bottom right bears a negative number of “8341.”
Photo comes in a wonderful Victorian frame with heavy decorations of vines, leaves and flowers all covered in gold gilt paint. Frame is in excellent condition and meas. approx. 14.50 inches long x 12.50 inches wide x 2.00 inches deep. [AD] [PH:L]
