Complete GAR membership badge in good condition.
Badge consists of a brass spread-winged eagle perched on crossed cannons over a stack of cannonballs. Reverse has the original pin and beneath it a stamped scene of a camp kettle cooking over a fire with stamped patent information.
Suspended from the top bar is a full color US Flag ribbon with a star shaped brass drop.
The brass drop has the GAR seal at center with crossed rifles, swords, cannons an anchor and an infantry horn in each of the arms of the star. Reverse has all the Corps badges relating to the entire Union Army. Numbered along the edge “W17”.
Badge has a slight worn appearance along with minor surface dirt. [ad] [PH:m/L]
