Gold-toned jewelry box with hinged lid, has an engraved image of the Jennie Wade House on the top, along with the words, “JENNIE WADE HOUSE, GETTYSBURG, PA”. All four sides of the box feature a different Gettysburg scene, which are- General Lee’s Headquarters, the High Water Mark, Pennsylvania State Monument, and Devil’s Den.
Item is in overall very good condition. Box has a semi-bright patina. Measures approx. 3 ¼”long x 2 ½” wide x 1 ½” high. Bottom of box is marked, “MADE IN JAPAN. A.C. BOSSELMAN & CO. NEW YORK” and “Japanese characters / 1804”.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sl]
