Early Gettysburg souvenir booklet features forty pages of photographs taken by the famous battlefield photographer, William Tipton. Back cover is marked, “PUBLISHED BY WILLIAM H. TIPTON, GETTYSBURG, PA. COPYRIGHT, AUGUST, 1899, BY J.H. ANVIL, PHILADELPHIA, PA.” Book includes many different views around the battlefield, with captions at each photo.

Measures approximately 8” by 10”. Cover shows scattered spotting. Pages have yellowed with age. Top right corner of book is slightly bent. Binding is tight.  [sl]
