Regulation brass cavalry spur. Excavated relic from the South Cavalry Battlefield location at Gettysburg. Brass has dark brown/green patina.  This is the style with gutter running along inside at the heel. No rowel and one of the strap keepers is broken off.  Typical condition of relics from cultivated fields in that area.  [jet]
